Wow….300 posts! It’s only taken me what? 5 years to get that far? Holy cow, I’m slow on the uptake here, folks. Of course, a lot has happened over those years, and if you really want to know – or are really that bored – you can read about my escapades from day one of this thing. I’m glad LiveJournal has that long of a memory, I’ll tell you what!
I’m still my own person with my own ideas (especially about what is normal), and I like to keep my spirits high when dealing with the world as we know it, work, home, and all the other fun things I happen to come across in my daily travels. I’m not quite as fashion flambouyant as I once was, but I still enjoy my vices to their fullest when I can. In fact, I just ordered a pair of white knee-high platform boots online, so I hope they get here before I leave for Denver (in 9 days….hmm..that might be a stretch). Irregardless, I’m sure it’ll be a fun time all the way around. I’m looking forward to renewing ties, catching up with people, and doing a tiny bit of shopping as well. At least it’s only 9 hours from here as opposed to 2 days to get to California, so that’s a good thing too.
I’m still doing my fan site for Mari Iijima (I must be some nutso fanboy or something, but I really do love her music), which has been going on for 8 years now, and currently it’s at http://acrossthesea.fateback.com. Her site has been upgraded quite a bit since I first “knew” her, and it’s actually quite good! I still need to learn Flash, PHP, and CSS….but I’m working on those too, along with eventually pulling my head outta my arse and actually GETTING it done. That may take a genuine miracle and 3 acts of congress, but it may be possible.
To all who have wandered by and were at least mildly entertained, thank you. It’s been real so far, and will continue to be so. To those who have just discovered this, I hope you continue to come back from time to time.
