I think I have the eBay bug pretty badly. I just did up some auctions for some older shoes I have not been able to use fully, and they’re already garnering a LOT of interest. I’m like…..wow…..that’s quick. The albums I had up for sale have been selling pretty readily, although I’ve learned with online auctions, it’s all a waiting game. I watched one of my albums incur 2 bids in the last 60 seconds, so that meant someone was watching them pretty intently. It’s frustrating seeing it from a buyer’s end, but hilarious seeing it from a seller’s, because you see the changes happening just *bang bang bang* – every time you refresh the page, the price goes up and the number of bids ratchets up accordingly.
I bought a new pair of kick-azz boots with some of my proceeds as well, so I’m loving this part of the whole result. Next up….a better camera and nicer stereo.
I’m finding out my little one is getting to be quite the RPG afficianado. She plays Final Fantasy X, Star Ocean, and Xenosaga pretty handily, and does actually quite well, although she needs to brush up on her FFX battle skillz some. It’s amazing how well younger ones catch on to the newest stuff – of course, that’s true no matter what generation you are in.
If you have ever worked in a call center, you learn very quickly that they can be very hazardous to your health if you’re not careful. I’m not talking about the people you deal with, or any of that…….but it’s just the sitting on your sitting bones for 9-11 hours a day in front of a computer – that’s the part that’ll do you in, unless you get your exercise some other way. Yes….I’m learning that one too. Time to break out the bicycle again, since the weather is getting nicer out (except the few days it’s been raining).
Yep…the summer is going well!
