Last week, we went and saw two movies at the local drive-in (yes, we have one here, and thank God for that!), so here’s how the movies were…….
Hancock – this movie is pretty darn good in my opinion. Will Smith plays the character to a T, and has the charisma to make the story really fun. Lots of great sight hilarity and witty dialogue make this a fun romp through the down-and-out life of a superhero who just needs a good PR guy to help him back on the right track. Definitely recommended
Don’t Mess With The Zohan – I was expecting a laugh-fest and a half after seeing the trailer to this movie, but oh man what a turkey this one turned out to be. Too much of the comedy tries to be vulgar and it’s just not something I found myself laughing at too much (except the funny cameos by Henry Winkler and George Takei). There was one good 5-minute piece near the end, but by then, it was far too late to save this ride to nowhere. I’d skip it.
