So far, it’s been a very fun vacation! Last night, Ray, David, & I met up with Dana, whom I haven’t seen since high school, and Angelo, whom I haven’t seen since 2003 when we moved out of Denver. It was a great reunion, and we were out til after 1:30, so it made for a late return to the motel. Chris & I stayed up for a bit talking about NDK and the day before turning in.
This morning we left the hotel earlier than I thought, so Chris took me out for a wonderful breakfast at Sam’s No. 3, which I’d never been to before, but they had some surprisingly great food. I was dropped off much earlier than was planned, so I’m taking some quiet time while waiting for them to rise, because it would be rude of me to just wake them up on my account.
I picked up some new clothes from the Lane Bryant outlet store, which the salespeople were just wonderful, and then went to the Payless in the Aurora Mall and found some cute shoes on the cheap (the sales lady said they looked cute too), so if I find anything else, I’m gonna have to buy another bag and check it in. I’m looking forward to today, and seeing what surprises the day brings. I do miss my family though, and I’m looking forward to the return flight so I can be with them again. It’s nice to get away, but it’s nice to go home again too.
