If recent years have taught me something, it’s that sometimes things really do change for the better, and you can’t always go with what others tell you.
What do I mean? Well, I never thought I’d be happy living in Montana again, yet here I am, happy and healthy, living my dream and loving every minute of it. You’ve read my blogs befoe, so you know why I’m happy. I really don’t need to re-hash it again.
I picked up a game the other day that has been panned by a lot of critics. What game, you ask?
Tron Evolution – for the PS3.
Me? I like it. I love the graphics, the feel, the game play is good, and it was worth the price. I think it’s better than playing Grand Theft Auto, part XVIII.2A – seriously….some game series titles just need to end a bloody death. That brings me to another topic of change – video arcades.
Remember when arcades were in every city, and people would spend hours upon hours playing there? Guess what? Times change. Nowadays, the home systems far outweigh the power of the arcades by at least 2 to 1. So I guess unless you’re nosaalgic, it’s really not worth the time anymore – not with the arcades that are left. Sorry Tilt…..you are just a VERY pale imitation of the greatness that was once Aladdin’s Castle.
So yes….some things do change for the better, but I guess it’s WHAT changes that makes it to whether you think it’s for the better or not.
