I remember when G4 used to be a GOOD channel. Really! It really was at one time.
What happened? If you have seen their channel, you would know.
Judgment Day (THE best videogame show EVER) – [CANCELLED]
Filter (all the cool gizmos gadgets & games) – [CANCELLED]
Electronic Playground (the 2nd best game show – yes I’m biased towards JD) – [WHITTLED DOWN]
What do they put in their place? The Man Show – CRAP! The Whip Set – CRAP! Fastlane – CRAP! What the bloody freaking hell do ANY of these shows have to do with video games or technology? NOTHING! Comcast has pulled out all the stops and alienated their viewers in order to grab as much cash as they can, and they will gladly ride the crest of the crap-wave all the way to the bank until the channel is a smoldering pile of ashes, then they’ll dance on it, and do it with ANOTHER network!
I truly feel sorry for Tommy Tallarico, Victor Lucas, Diane Mizota, and all the other cool people who are having to go elsewhere because Comcast doesn’t a flying Kirby Air Ride about their viewer-base (not that it’s any surprise since their support SUCKS BALLS!). Another reason why that company should just take a nose-dive and rot in the sewers of the inferno.
So now G4=Spike II, since they’re just chucking any old license in there they can get, and forget all about original programming. GAGH!

One Door And Three Blocks From Xanadu 
G4 got a new head of the network, and his idea was to make it more a male oriented network (ala Spike) as the current idea is that I guess they are wanting the male 18-35 demographic.
It seems that G4 is really suffering an identity crisis right now, and in the process they are alienating their audience.
The thing that gets me is that there is now videogame programming that rivals G4 on other networks.
